Located in the vibrant heart of Kuching at UTC Bangunan Taman Kereta, ABC Seafood Topspot Ah Seng No. 10 is a seafood lover’s haven that masterfully blends freshness, bold flavors, and local culinary artistry. This seafood restaurant specializes in an impressive array of ocean delights that promise to awaken the palate with every bite.
From the moment you step into this open-air, bustling eatery, the scent of sizzling seafood mingled with aromatic spices invites you in. The atmosphere is lively and unpretentious, creating a perfect backdrop for an authentic Sarawakian seafood feast. Diners often find themselves immersed in the convivial buzz of locals sharing hearty plates and savoring the flavors that make this spot a must-visit.
The menu showcases exquisite dishes that highlight the natural bounty of the sea. Signature items include the expertly grilled river prawns, cooked to perfection with succulent meat and a light smoky char. The steamed Pomfret is delicate yet robust in flavor — a testament to the skill of the veteran chefs who understand how to coax every bit of umami from fresh fish. The fried oyster omelette is an absolute standout, offering a delightfully crunchy texture that complements the rich, briny oysters enveloped within.
A particularly memorable highlight is their famed kamhyong sauce — described by one discerning customer as an "umami bomb" with a complex medley of sesame oil, chili, garlic, and a subtle sweetness from palm sugar or sweet soy. This sauce elevates every dish it's paired with, especially when enjoyed alongside perfectly steamed rice. The slipper lobster and sea bass served here consistently impress for their pristine freshness and expertly executed preparation, letting the quality of the seafood shine without unnecessary embellishments.
Beyond taste, patrons praise ABC Seafood for its reasonable pricing and the knowledge that each seafood item is precisely weighed and priced upfront, ensuring transparency and value. Despite its casual setup, the quality and flavors here rival much more upscale venues, making every visit feel like an undiscovered treasure.
Whether it’s the crispy seabass cooked in ‘tiga rasa’ sauce or the comforting sea cucumber soup, every dish tells a story of expert seasoning and passion for delivering authentic local flavors. If you find yourself in Kuching, arriving early — preferably before 6pm — is advisable to secure a seat in this local hotspot famed for reigniting even the most jaded of taste buds.
In summary, ABC Seafood Topspot Ah Seng No. 10 is not just a meal but an immersive taste adventure brimming with rich textures, heady aromas, and the genuine warmth of Sarawak’s seafood tradition. +Must try the kamhyong sauce, it beats my all time favorite oyster sauce seafood back home (indonesia). A sesame oil based sauce with chilli, garlic, a little bit of ginger, and i think either sweet soy sauce or palm/red sugar. Tastes heavy, umami bomb, slightly spicy, and sweet, best eaten with rice +The seafood i ordered are fresh (sea bass and slipper lobster). Slipper lobster still has that sweetnes and bouncy texture, seabass is flaky, firm and slightly sweet, i think its best to fried/steam, not ideal for bbq -The place are hot at evening, i came around 4 pm and its stuffy

Forget the crowds or lack of ambiance.... The taste of their seafood is out of this world. Prices are also very very reasonable. I've eaten good food all around the world and they have kick started my jaded taste buds. Come before 6pm or earlier to secure a seat.

The sole bbq with sambal was cooked just right with good flavors. I was confused about the price cause it was 6RM per 100gr, and the weight was 345gr. Yet, they charged me 28rm. Anyway, it is only a few RM difference, so not worth arguing. The fried oyster omelette seems to be popper with all food stalls here, and it comes very crunchy all the way. The vegetables were a good size portion for price, and I would definitely recommend the midin belachan.

June 5th 2025 , 545pm on a heavy rainy Thursday , this spot (ABC SEAFOOD) was recommended and I tell you this place blew my head, the crispy seabass ( they weigh and let you know the price beforehand) cooked in ‘tiga rasa’ paired with the sea cucumber soup and ginger chicken(I can’t live without chicken because chicken saves the world) with midin all in the hands of veteran old seasoned chef is just all we needed that day. Price is affordable and the flavour makes you question why pay more at other places when this is where you get it all. Walked out belly full with no regrets or thought that the food could get even better. It was sublime

Fantastic and huge grilled river prawns were cooked perfectly and the stir fried fern were absolutely delicious. The steamed Pomfret was also excellent, although the salted egg chicken was not as good as the other dishes. Bustling atmosphere and tasty food for a good price, recommended.
